To say that the last couple of months has been a whirlwind of changes, in just about every area of my life. Spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally, is nothing short of an understatement. If there is one thing all of these changes has taught me though, it is that it is so important to appreciate the journey of life. Even in amongst all of the changes.

Over the last year and a half I have undergone many changes, however the last three months in particular, have been jam packed with even more changes than usual. If I am being honest with myself, I have to say that I have found myself getting a little overwhelmed from time to time, and then next thing you know, what I was worrying about or allowing myself to become overwhelmed over, works out perfectly fine in the end anyway. This then spirals into myself looking back over the time that I spent worrying so much and it seems as though I have almost missed all of the moments in between.

So I guess you could say that the point I am trying to make, is that worrying and fixating on future/past events is a complete and utter waste of your time and energy. So much of the greatness in life is in those in between moments. When we are fixated so much on future events. or the finer details that we really don’t have the answer to anyway, we miss so much of what life is about, and the moments that make it so special.

I truly believe that on a spiritual level (one that I haven’t fully worked out yet) we chose to come into this experience of life, purely to learn and experience it, and everything else in between is just a bonus. I believe it is important to set an intention for your life, this is key. However it is also just as important to not fixate on the outcome, and try to control how this comes to be. When we go against enjoying and experiencing, thats when our precious moments get lost. Everything in our life is here to enjoy or to teach us lessons. This is why it is crucially important for us to love every area of our life, whether we perceive it to be a good or bad moment or not, because in doing so, thats when we really take a hold of life and embrace it.
